Raj has worked for microfinance institutions, banks, financial cooperatives, NGOs, financial regulators and donors all his career of 20 years.
He has led large technical assistance programmes for the MFIs in India, Indonesia and the Philippines. He His interest has been in the area of strategy development, business planning, process optimisation, risk analysis and control; monitoring & evaluation and financial management. He has travelled across the developing world performing consulting missions in Asia and Africa.Raj is now using the expertise gained from working with the financial institutions, for the benefit of agri-businesses and social/agri-start-ups. Raj has graduated from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, India and has done small business courses from the Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands. Raj loves music and likes to sing. He likes walking and travelling in the countryside
